Hi friends, welcome to my blog! My name is Calli but I am also known as wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. I love yoga, weight lifting, (sometimes) running, gardening, coffee, food, reading books, taking pictures, listening and creating music, and traveling.

About "Whatever Is Lovely"

This blog is about art. I am not an "artist" in the traditional sense of the word - except the occasional photography session with my niece and nephew.  However, I have been challenged recently to look at myself as an artist.

How you may ask? Let's first look at the definition of "art."  Dictionary.com defines it as:

• art [ ahrt ] noun: the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance.
